Pyongyang Traffic Girl ready for traffic

With more traffic lights now being utilized for traffic control in Pyongyang, in those intersections
the traffic ladies will stand near the curb and use a remote controller (here in her left hand) to change the stop lights.
But they remain ready to rush out and direct traffic manually with the baton if the traffic lights stop working.
